Gray cardboard: (250g-450g), usually used for less important packaging, which is conducive to cost savings. Especially in the case of mass production. Generally, 250g is sufficient for small boxes. For larger ones, 300g-350g can be used, and some use more than 350g. But the printing cost of thicker paper is also different.
Single-powder paper: Single-powder paper has better strength, stiffness and toughness. Therefore, it is widely used in color boxes, handbags, and hang tags. The general thickness of single-powder paper is 250g-400g. Most card boxes are made with 350g single powder. The small box can use 250g based on cost considerations. It is generally recommended to use 350g.
Gold and silver cardboard: In high-end card box packaging, gold and silver cardboard is widely used. Of course, gold and silver cardboard must be UV printed to ensure the ink's inking property. So the cost is relatively high. But no matter how large the quantity is, the amortized printing cost is not so obvious.
PVC and PET film: Some electronic products and high-end cosmetics are increasingly using film as color boxes. The main advantage is that it can be arbitrarily changed between transparent and opaque according to actual applications. The material is relatively high-grade than paper. If you need to print content patterns, you also need UV printing.
