The recent surge in aluminum prices has aroused market concern. According to data, the price of aluminum rose to a high of US$2615 per ton last week, and it has soared 31% so far this year. The share prices of the world`s largest aluminum producers have also risen by double digits this year, such as the United States. The aluminum industry surged 68%, and the European Hydro Corporation also rose 47%.
Aluminum prices are approaching their highest levels in 10 years, and global demand for aluminum has rebounded after the epidemic. According to Hamilton Capital Markets analyst at Bank of Montreal, the industry may surpass 2010 this year and become the largest annual demand growth in history.
Affected by the rise in aluminum prices, major offset printing plate manufacturers have released news of plate price increases.
Among them, since August 5, all models of Qiangbang's thick version will be increased by 0.7 yuan per square meter from the original price, and all models of thin version will be increased by 0.3 yuan per square meter from the original price.
